We Believe
In the "Transformative Power of the Gospel"
In the "Transformative Power of the Gospel"
We uphold the Bible as the inspired Word of God, authoritative and infallible in its teachings. It serves as our ultimate guide for faith and practice, providing comprehensive wisdom and sufficiency for all aspects of life. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21).
We believe in the One True God, Elohim, the Creator of the universe. This God, while beyond human definition, has revealed Himself as a Triune God: One God existing eternally in three distinct Persons— the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He is one in nature and essence, exhibiting omnipotence, omnipresence, and omniscience. (Genesis 1:1; Matthew 3:16-17; Matthew 28:18-19).
We affirm that true repentance and belief in Jesus Christ are essential for justification before God. The process of sanctification, through the Holy Spirit, empowers believers to live transformed lives that reflect Christ's love. (Acts 2:38; Romans 5:1; 1 Corinthians 1:30).
We acknowledge the fallen state of humanity, recognizing that all have sinned and fall short of God's glory. This condition necessitates repentance and regeneration, as we seek restoration through faith in Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:23; Isaiah 53:6; Acts 2:38).
Jesus Christ is our Savior; meeting humanity's need for redemption. His divine nature, Virgin Birth, Sinless Life, Atoning Death, Resurrection, and promised return are foundational to our faith and offer hope to all. (Matthew 1:21; John 1:1; Romans 10:9).
We practice baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith, reserved for those who are ready to commit to Jesus Christ. The Lord's Supper is observed as a sacred act of communion, open to all members in fellowship, signifying our unity in Jesus Christ. (Matthew 3:16; Luke 22:19-20).
We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, which empowers believers and manifests spiritual gifts and the fruit of the Spirit in their lives, fostering growth and service within the community. (Joel 2:28; Galatians 5:22-23).
We hold firmly to the belief in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ and the resurrection of the dead. The saved will experience eternal life in God's presence, while the unsaved face eternal separation from Him. (Acts 1:11; John 5:28-29).
TITHES AND OFFERINGS
We believe in the practice of tithing and generous giving as essential expressions of faith, enabling the advancement of God’s Kingdom. We believe that God blesses those who give cheerfully and faithfully. (Malachi 3:6-10; 2 Corinthians 9:7).
We affirm that divine healing is a provision for God’s people, as evidenced in Scripture. We trust in the power of prayer for healing while valuing the expertise of medical professionals in caring for health needs. (Isaiah 53:4-5; James 5:14-16).
